
Elie (Ales) Spiesel serves as treasurer of IHN. A graduate of the University of Vermont, Ales works as an independent financial modeling consultant and has specialized in creating computer models for investment portfolio selection and management. Over the years he has worked at firms including Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, Bunker Capital, and Charles Schwab, where he helped create and run the Schwab Hedged Equity mutual fund. He and his wife Joann have two children and have lived in South Orange for the past eight years, where he also serves on the board of Temple Sharey Tefilo Israel's Iris Family Center preschool.
