Buy One, Give One Comforter Program Extended through March!

Families served by Interfaith Hospitality Network of Essex County will benefit from a program launched by The Company Store and Family Promise (the national organization under which IHN of Essex County is an affiliate).

Between now and the end of March, The Company Store, a leading online retailer of bedding and home accessories, will support the Buy One, Give One Comforter program by matching each purchase of one of their comforters with a donation of a new comforter to a child served by Family Promise Affiliates nationwide.  By placing an order, the customer is automatically donating a comforter to a child in need.

In addition, IHN volunteers and supporters can purchase comforters at a 20 percent discount by entering the promo code BOGO20 on The Company Store website.  This is the perfect opportunity for supporters to donate a truly meaningful gift to families in need while purchasing high quality comforters at a substantial savings.

“We’re thrilled to be participating in The Buy One, Give One Comforter Program and are overwhelmed by the generosity of The Company Store” says Tia Aery, IHN executive director. “We will provide these comforters to our families who have recently moved from emergency shelter to their own homes. What a great head start for them as they establish their new abode during these difficult economic times!”

Karen Feldmen, director of marketing at The Company Store, said, “Our loyal customers can participate with us in an act of kindness and generosity every time they purchase a comforter. The Company Store is committed to bringing some comfort and warmth to children in need throughout the year, not just during the holiday season. We are pleased to deliver these comforters through Family Promise and their affiliates in the United States.”

TESTIMONIALS
"Thank you to each and every one of you for what you have done for me and my family. When I first came into IHN I knew that we would be moving every week to a different congregation but I had no clue that I would meet such beautiful persons and that my family would have such an impression on anyone when we were feeling like the world was about to come to an end. The hope and love that was shown to us helped us to realize that we were not alone. My experience is not one that I will ever forget."
